Andrés Fajardo has led the structuring and start-up of the company, developing its first 18 hectares of GACP and EU-GMP certified cannabis cultivation and post-harvest facilities, as well as the construction of the GMP-certified pharmaceutical extraction and production plant. Fajardo was a co-founder and director of Mojo Ventures, as well as president of IQ Outsourcing and was a senior fellow at Booz & Company, a global management consulting firm. Clever Leaves, which began operating when Colombia approved Law 1787 of 2016, also has operations and investments in the US, Canada, Germany and Portugal. Since the beginning it has built an effective distribution network and a global presence, with a foundation built on “capital efficiency and rapid growth”.
