In the midst of the pandemic, Verónica Marcelo, who had been working at Natura Cosméticos for 16 years, became general manager of the brand in Argentina, the company’s most relevant operation outside of Brazil. From her position, she promotes an inclusive culture in a safe environment, free of prejudices and stereotypes. As a company, last year, Natura completed the purchase of Avon, forming the holding Natura & Co., the 4th beauty group in the world, where The Body Shop and Aesop also coexist. At the local and regional level, the common causes that Marcelo leads are attention to the climate crisis, the protection of the Amazon, human rights, and the eradication of gender violence.
