Founder and president of Azul, David G. Neeleman now runs the fastest growing airline in the country. He started his career in the airline industry in 1984, when he cofounded Morris Air. He also founded JetBlue, where he served as CEO from 1998 to 2007 and chairman of the board of directors. Neeleman was also the cofounder of WestJet Airlines and was part of a consortium that acquired a stake in TAP in the process of its privatization in 2015, where he is currently a member of the board.
